Mick by Jonathon Gittus & Harry Metcalf

Michael is a 54-year-old model train enthusiast living in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs.

When a woman from his past and her soon-to-be husband pay him a visit, Michael’s quiet existence is replaced with late nights, booze and an exhilarating sense of self.

Forced to reconcile his traditional Christian upbringing with his blossoming sexuality, Michael is soon faced with retreating to his previous life, or going all-in.

"A simply-told, wickedly-dark comic tale, that illustrates how the worst in each of us can be so strongly magnified when refracted through others."
